Recent Painting - Water lillies

This is a recent painting I did of water lilies next to some irises. I used watercolour. I also used masking fluid to white out the water lily pads before painting them in. The shapes of the lily pads look a bit irregular because of the irregularity of the shapes painted with masking fluid.

Below is the original picture that I zoomed into. I took that picture on my travels. 

These are some practice sketches I did to prepare. Kind of getting the colours and shapes right. 

Below are 2 other paintings I did that day and all 3 being framed up. The bottom 2 are another water lily and iris picture and a Pinterest inspired floral bouquet.
