Waterfront in coloured pencils

My aim for this painting was a soothing, muted colour pencil drawing of a waterfront in Vancouver. It looked like the day was a mellow one with not much lighting so not very much contrast.

It was difficult to paint on the plain paper surface with HB coloured pencils, but I tried my best. The result was alright, though the colours were not convincing. I guess if I did this in an actual painting, I would have to make the colours more muted and mellow.
