Welcome to my blog
Hi everyone,
This is a new blog from me, Crystal; an offshoot off my other blog A Simple Place which is a food blog. I have been doing art on a regular basis since the beginning of the year 2019. I thought of creating this blog so my food blog readers can enjoy my art as well, which is another interest of mine other than food.
Anyway, this blog will document my artworks and hopefully inspire me to do better art as I am able to account for my efforts. I have only sold one piece of art so far, to my good friend, Adia. I have the opportunity of selling at some events through one of my contacts, but so far to no avail as the events are not confirmed yet.
Nevertheless, I hope to be a true artist and improve slowly. I do feel it takes time for talent to be developed and it needs to be shaped and nurtured. Love and passion is important for art and sometimes I question if this is for me. I hope it is, and when I do good works it is even more so. On bad days where nothing I do works, hopefully I can remain calm and try to channel creativity and love.
